NORWALK, CT - After much anticipation, Mediterraneo of Norwalk opens on Monday, April 29th for dinner only until Monday, May 7th. Sunday Brunch will begin May 12th and guests will enjoy a complimentary Bellini or Mimosa.

Visionary restaurateur, Ramze Zakka, the creator of Mediterraneo of Norwalk is renown for his five other Fairfield and Westchester County restaurants to include: Mediterraneo and Terra of Greenwich, Sole of New Canaan, Aqua of Westport and Aurora in Rye. All of Zakka’s culinary experiences are known for their exquisite seafood and wood-fired signature dishes and expansive, international wine lists which have been carefully selected from Italy, France, California, and other premiere regions as perfect accompaniments to your meal.

Mediterraneo of Norwalk serves as an ideal backdrop for the masterful talent of chef Albert DeAngelis, who is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and who worked in New York and France before coming to Connecticut. His cuisine is inspired by old world flavors, expertly prepared using premium ingredients and enjoyed in an environment with colors of Tuscany and the Mediterranean.

Diners will relish the expandable windows that will open seasonally to breathtaking views of the streaming Norwalk River and scenic waterfall. Mediterraneo of Norwalk is located at the brand new 96-room boutique hotel, Hotel Zero Degrees of Norwalk which opened two weeks prior on April 8th, 2013. The Hotel is fully open for business and offers all hotel guests complimentary amenities including: a warm breakfast buffet, high-speed wireless internet, local shuttle service, newspapers, Starbucks coffee all day long and access to a one-of-a kind rooftop lounge, a 1875 sf ballroom, and a state-of- the-art fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows.
