NORWALK, CT - A Delicious Affair, LLC announces its re-launch just in time for the holiday season with a new logo, new look and new attitude. “I feel there is a need in the area for something fresh and new” says Chef/Owner, Vanessa Nashe.

A Delicious Affair originally opened in 2003.  Upon graduating with honors from the Professional Culinary Program of ICE (The Institute of Culinary Education) in NYC, Nashe completed an externship at Meigas Restaurant while they were #1 rated by Zagat. Her passion for food along with her eagerness to help others led her to establish A Delicious Affair, LLC a catering and personal chef service. Since that time, Nashe has had a lot on her plate (no pun intended), including the birth of her twin daughters in 2007. Since her daughters have started school, “now is an optimal time to focus more on my business” says Nashe. When not spending time with her family, Nashe enjoys donating her talents and services to local charities like Family Children’s Agency and the Malta House in Norwalk and the Fairfield County Chapter of Over 40 Females. With a smile, Nashe states - “Creating, cooking and being able to share my talents with others brings me great joy.”

Since its inception, A Delicious Affair, LLC has mainly catered private events; recently expanding to include more social and corporate events.  Over the last year, A Delicious Affair has catered several high-profile events including the Ambler Farm Annual Summer Picnic for 200 guests - which resulted in rave reviews from the picnickers.  She is gearing up to cater the Art of the Wreath Annual Cocktail Party also hosted by Ambler Farm in December.

Shifting her focus from doing many things, great – she has now committed her business to doing fewer things to perfection.  Fresh (and organic whenever possible) and uncomplicated is vision for her new menu. “Sometimes the unpredictability of the quality of ingredients when not in season can be an issue. For example, “You list something on your menu, discuss it with your client, then the week of the event you can’t find any quality of that ingredient; so you are forced to search high and low, investing more time and energy into this ingredient and eventually advising the client that you must alter their menu selection (not many planners are happy to hear this the week of their event) all because of an ingredient that you should have not have been focusing on in the first place.”  By focusing on only seasonal ingredients for her menu offerings, she is comfortable that they will be bountiful and at the height of their freshness.  This will allow A Delicious Affair to give their clients a fresh and uncomplicated taste experience. Albeit uncomplicated still sophisticated.

In addition to preparing remarkable food, A Delicious Affair, LLC can assist you with all aspects of your planning – including staffing, rentals, florist and venue recommendations.

Nashe is excited about the re-launch of A Delicious Affair and optimistic that she and her staff are capable of bringing a refreshing taste and feel to events in the Tri-State area.

Nashe proudly states “I welcome each day as it is brings new ideas, inspiration and possibilities for A Delicious Affair.”

A Delicious Affair, LLC is a full service off-premise catering company catering all types of events from specialty events, including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, anniversary/retirement parties, office parties and luncheons to smaller, more intimate private in-home affairs. A Delicious Affair serves the tri-state area with a concentration in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
