On Monday June 21st from 8:30 am to 4 pm, Ann’s Place, The Home of I CAN Cancer Support Services and Resource Center will hold its 15th Annual Ladies Golf Classic at Richter Park in Danbury, CT. Ladies looking for a round of golf in a delightful setting – or anyone interested in sponsoring this fundraising event – is invited to participate. Not only is the Ladies Golf Classic one of the top ladies tournaments in the area – it is played at the beautiful Richter Park Golf Course, awarded by Golf Digest as one of the “Best Places to Play” in 2008-2009. Due to its popularity, ladies are encouraged to register as soon as possible as this is a first come, first served event.

$175 player fee includes greens fee, cart, skill prizes, breakfast, lunch at the turn, and awards banquet. Players will compete for Net & Gross Individual prizes. A variety of exciting raffle and silent auction items will be offered. All proceeds of the event benefit Ann’s Place.

Sponsors are needed now more than ever, and start as low as $35! As a sponsor, your business has the opportunity to build awareness and exposure; convey the image of a company that gives back to the community; as well as tap into the “equity” and good-will of an established and successful event. New this year, a complimentary foursome is included in sponsorship packages starting at $1,500 and up.

Your sponsorship can be in honor or memory of someone touched by cancer. You can also play for someone touched by cancer by wearing a wristband bearing that person’s name.

Ann’s Place, The Home of I CAN provides comfort and support to those living with cancer and to their loved ones. All services are provided free of charge. I CAN, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit agency.
