Danbury hospital’s Global Health Center presents next Global Health Night

DANBURY, CT - Dr. Majid Sadigh, Health Director of the Global Health Center at Western Connecticut Health Network, in discussion with fellow colleagues, invites doctors, medical students, and interested members of the community to attend the next Global Health Night at Danbury Hospital. The program takes place on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m in the Gerard D. Robilotti Conference Center located on the 5th floor of the Tower Building. Attendees are asked to park in the Red Garage (Locust Avenue entrance). Refreshments will be provided.

The following is a preview of the December 6th Global Health Night agenda:

William Fabricius, MD, Chief Resident of Internal Medicine Residency Program, Saint Mary's Hospital – “Reflections on a Clinical Elective in Russia”

Bulat Ziganshin, Research Scholar in Cardiovascular Surgery at Yale SOM & the Chief Officer of Global Health at Kazan State Medical University in Russia – “Kazan State medical University Partnership with Western Connecticut Health Network and the University of Vermont College of Medicine”

Katrin Sara Sadigh, Senior Medical Student at Boston University & previous Peace Corps volunteer – “Peace Corps Kenya: Industry Through Integration”

Karina Haber, MD, PGY2 in OB/GYN, Danbury Hospital – “An Exploration of the personal meaning of global citizenship as a healthcare provider.”
