Wethersfield, CT – Hartford Medical Group and Eastern Rehabilitation Network, members of Hartford Healthcare, have opened a new, state-of-the-art medical building in Wethersfield. The new facility – located at 1025 Silas Deane Highway – offers a wide range of comprehensive health care services for the community in a large, comfortable, technologically-advanced environment.

Among the medical services offered by Hartford Medical Group will be primary and urgent care, occupational medicine and laser aesthetics. It will continue to provide extended access to care, offering same-day appointments, and remaining open weekday evenings and on weekends.

Eastern Rehabilitation Network will offer rehabilitation services ranging from physical and occupational therapy to athletic training. It will also offer rehabilitation programs unique to Wethersfield such as pregnancy and postpartum therapy, and hand therapy.

“Hartford Medical Group is proud to unveil our new, state-of-the-art Wethersfield office. Primary care physicians play an essential role in maintaining a healthy community and our new facility will help us continue to provide even more accessible, personal, high-quality care,” said Dr. Kent Stahl, Chief Executive Officer and a founder of Hartford Medical Group.

“Eastern Rehabilitation Network has provided high-quality physical rehabilitation services from trusted experts to the Wethersfield community for years,” said Rita Parisi, Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Rehabilitation Network. “We are proud to help individuals achieve their goals of gaining functional independence each and every day.”

On-site laboratory testing will be available in the near future at the new Wethersfield location. Clinical Laboratory Partners, also a member of Hartford Healthcare, will occupy space in the facility, offering the community additional convenience.

“Clinical Laboratory Partners aids in the health of over one million patients annually,” said James E. Fantus, President and Chief Executive Officer of Clinical Laboratory Partners. “We are proud to open our second patient service center in Wethersfield and thank the patients of Connecticut for making us their laboratory of choice.”

Hartford Healthcare has an extensive history of providing care in Wethersfield. Almost 27 years ago, Immediate Medical Care Center opened its first office at 1100 Silas Deane Highway (now the site of a pharmacy). That practice ultimately evolved into Hartford Medical Group.

The Hartford Hospital Wellness Center – located across the street at 1260 Silas Deane Highway – will continue to provide sophisticated specialty care services to the Wethersfield community.
