Medical group opens Monroe primary care office

MONROE, CT - Patrick Broderick, M.D., President of Western Connecticut Medical Group (formerly Danbury Office of Physician Services) has announced the opening of a new primary care office at 427 Main Street, Route 25, with Kavita Joshi, MBBS, MD, MACP, and David Hoenicke, MD, and Page Waller, PA-C. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Joshi was previously affiliated with Griffin Hospital since 2008 and Bridgeport Hospital since 2004. She served as a hospitalist (specialist in inpatient medicine) at Hospital of St. Raphael from 2002-2009. Dr. Joshi completed a residency at Hospital of St. Raphael in 2002, and earned a medical degree from Armed Forces Medical School, Pune, India, in 1991.

Dr. Hoenicke is board certified in family medicine, and previously served as a Southbury-based physician with Western Connecticut Medical Group and Danbury Hospital since 2005. Prior to his work as a primary care physician affiliated with Sylva Medical Center in North Carolina from 1999-2005, he completed his residency with Spartanburg Regional Family Medicine Residency Program in South Carolina. Dr. Hoenicke earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and a B.S. in biology from Northern Michigan University.

Page Waller is a certified physician assistant with extensive experience in caring for patients in primary care settings for internal medicine, family medicine and pediatrics. Since 1996, she has served with Western Connecticut Medical Group in Brookfield and New Milford physician practices. She earned her B.S. in physician assistant studies from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and a B.A. in psychology at Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida.
