NEW MILFORD, CT – Hypnotherapist Sasha (Alexandra) Chalif, MS, MP, will speak on the topic of Preparing for Surgery using Hypnotherapy, featuring New Milford Hospital surgeon Courtney Chambers, MD, FACS as part of the New Milford Public Library series on Overall Health – Mind, Body, Spirit: New Milford Hospital’s Integrative Medicine Program. The lecture takes place at the New Milford Library (Memorial Hall) on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 6 p.m. New Milford Hospital’s Integrative Medicine Coordinator Susan Twombly will serve as the evening program’s moderator.
Sasha will discuss a variety of Integrative Medicine Program techniques used with surgical patients that promotes, and often accelerates healing throughout the surgical experience into recovery, including:
