New Milford Hospital hosts Strong Women™ Strong Bones Fitness Programs

NEW MILFORD, CT - New Milford Hospital will host the next series of Strong Women™ Strong Bones fitness programs at three community locations in March. Each session affords seven weeks (two classes per week) of exercise targeted to middle-aged and older women to increase strength, balance and flexibility, and is appropriate for both sedentary and active women.

Strong Women™ Strong Bones is a national, evidence based fitness program designed to prevent and reverse osteoporosis/osteopinea and promote general health and wellness.

The next series of seven-week classes start on the following dates and locations from March through April:

Location: NEW MILFORD
First Congregational Church (Parish House)
36 Main Street
New Milford, CT 06776
Monday, Wednesday & Friday’s
Date: March 4-April 19, 2013
Time: 10-11:15 a.m.

Location: KENT
The Kent Specialty Care Center
46 Maple Street
Kent CT 06757
Tuesday’s & Friday’s
Date: March 5-April 19, 2013
Tuesday: 10-11:15 a.m.
Friday: 2-3:15 p.m.

Location: WASHINGTON DEPOT
The Washington Senior Center
6 Bryan Hall Plaza
Washington Depot, CT 06794
Monday's & Wednesday's
Date: March 4-April 17, 2013
Time: 2-3:15 p.m.

The cost is $85 for seven weeks of classes, and the fee is pro-rated if you plan to join mid-session.
