NORWALK, CT - As the Norwalk Hospital Association (NHA) celebrates its 126th Anniversary; it proudly announces new appointments to the board of directors.
Patricia S. Bam is the newly elected Vice Chair of the NHA Board of Directors. Mrs. Bam is Chief Financial Officer at Foster & Foster, LLC. A graduate of Pace University, she also served as Controller at a Greenwich family office and held other management and staff positions at various public accounting firms throughout her career in finance.
Mrs. Bam is also Vice Chair of the Riverbook Regional YMCA, Treasurer of the Cystic Fibrosis Project Inc., and a member of the Norwalk Hospital Development Committee, Western Connecticut Health Network (WCHN) Investment Committee, WCHN Finance Committee, and Kennedy’s Rosary Project, which knots rosaries for Norwalk Hospital. She resides in Wilton with her husband, Eric, and they have two children.
Thomas I.H. Dubin, of Wilton, CT has been appointed to the board of directors of NHA. Mr. Dubin is a lawyer and pharmaceuticals executive. He is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Alexion Pharmaceuticals where he served on the Executive Committee. Mr. Dubin is the Treasurer and member of the Board of Trustees of American Jewish World Service. He is a graduate of New York University School of Law and of Amherst College, cum laude, and is currently a candidate for a Master’s in Public Health at Yale University School of Public Health.
Sarah Lesesne Tripodi is also joining the NHA board of directors. She is a member of the Georgetown University Board of Regents, Board of Advisors for the School of Nursing and Health Studies (NHS) and previously, the Board of Governors. Ms. Tripodi, a former member of the Board of Advisors for Emory University’s School of Public Health, has also served on various hospital advisory boards. Formerly of Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand, she has significant experience in healthcare management consulting and as a registered nurse. Ms. Tripodi received her Master of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Georgetown University School of NHS. She resides in Westport, CT.
“In addition to our current community volunteer leadership, these new and highly-qualified leaders will support our organization with insight that is necessary to advance our mission of providing innovative and high quality, patient-centered health care services for residents of Fairfield County.
