Norwalk, CT - Dr. Sarah E. Edgar of Greenwich, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, was recently appointed to the Norwalk Hospital medical staff.
Dr. Edgar completed her three year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital where she was named Chief Resident in 2013-2014 and was also recognized as Outstanding Resident for two years. Awarded a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Dr. Edgar received a Bachelor of Arts degree in human biology from the University of Kansas. She is practicing with Fairfield County Foot Surgeons.
“I am thrilled to bring my passion for diabetic limb care and foot salvage as well as forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery to the many medical specialties represented through the Norwalk Hospital medical staff,” states Dr. Edgar who is the author of articles published in Podiatry Today, Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, to name a few.
