STAMFORD, CT - Stamford Hospital will host an event for cancer survivors about post-treatment cognitive changes on Tuesday, November 29, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Tully Health Center Auditorium, 32 Strawberry Hill Court, Stamford.
The event, “Chemo-Brain: What’s Wrong with Me?” will be hosted by Dr. Tim Ahles, Clinical Psychologist and Director of the Neurocognitive Research Laboratory at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Ahles will discuss the cognitive changes that cancer survivors may experience, how these changes are measured and strategies for improving functioning.
