STAMFORD, CT - Stamford Hospital understands that a family’s sickness and medical needs don’t always fall during regular business hours. That’s why the hospital has extended the hours at the Immediate Care Center, located at the Tully Health Center, 32 Strawberry Hill Court.
The Immediate Care Center (ICC) is now open 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. seven days a week when patients need medical attention and their physician is not available. No appointment is necessary. The ICC is staffed with emergency-trained physicians and nurses to care for the public.
Common medical conditions treated at the ICC include: cold and flu symptoms; sprains, strains, cuts and simple fractures; fevers, sore throats and earaches; migraines and headaches; skin rashes and allergies. If patients are not sure about the severity of their symptoms or illness, they should always err on the side of caution and head to the Emergency Department.
