STAMFORD, CT - Stamford Hospital will host an informative colorectal cancer event on Thursday, March 21, at 6:00 p.m. at the Tully Health Center, 32 Strawberry Hill Court in Stamford. The event will address the important of screening for colorectal cancer, the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States.
Many people tend to be embarrassed, ashamed or are running behind on their regular screenings for colorectal cancer. However, if everyone age 50 and older had regular screening colonoscopies, at least 60% of deaths from this cancer could be avoided.
