Bridgeport, CT - On Tuesday, March 19, The Watermark at 3030 Park will host a free health lecture on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia presented by Kristen Cusato, Southwestern Regional Director of the Alzheimer’s Association. The program will begin at 3:45 p.m. at the retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line.

For her lecture, Cusato will discuss various aspects of memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, including detection, causes and risk factors. She will also go over the different stages of the disease as well as the different types of treatments available for people suffering with various forms of memory loss.

“It is extremely important to stay informed about memory loss risk factors and symptoms in order to receive timely treatment,” said Tracy-Ann Samuel, Community Life Director at The Watermark at 3030 Park. “Kristen Cusato is passionate about this cause and will provide practical and helpful information to guests of the lecture.”

Before being named Southwestern Regional Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Cusato spent more than 20 years in television news broadcasting. She spent time as an anchor and reporter in Texas and California, and most recently served as co-anchor of the WTNH News 8 morning show.

The event is free and open to the public, however seating is limited and reservations are required. To RSVP, please contact The Watermark at 3030 Park at 203-373-6288.
