Stamford, CT – NHL Chicago Blackhawks Skating & Skills Development Coach Kevin Delaney will bring two exciting camps to Stamford Twin Rinks from June 25-28, 2018. Delaney is in his seventh season with the Blackhawks, developing skating and game skills for Blackhawks players and players in the Blackhawks development system. Also an experienced youth hockey coach, Delaney is Director of Hockey and Player Development for the Chicago Young Americans, a dominant U.S. Tier 1 AAA youth hockey program.

His Ultimate Skills Camp for youth athletes under age 14 will run in the mornings, followed by the College Camp in the afternoon. The College Camp has additional spaces available for prep/high school players born in 2003 or older with college aspirations. The camps will focus on skating stride and technique, skating agility, puck control outside current comfort zone, shooting in-stride, shooting for quick release, and goal- scoring concepts.

“This is an amazing opportunity for CT players to train under a professional coach of this caliber. We’re proud to host these programs as part of our ongoing commitment to developing hockey athletes,” said Robert Rode, General Manager of Twin Rinks.
