BRIDGEPORT, CT - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that Sound Tigers players' wives and girlfriends will be selling "Love for Lokomotiv" bracelets in conjunction with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Booster Club at this weekend's games on Saturday night against the Albany Devils and on Sunday afternoon against the Hershey Bears.

On Sept. 7, 2011, a tragic plane crash took the lives of 44 people, including staff, coaches and players of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl professional hockey team of Russia's Kontinental Hockey League. In a united effort to show support for grieving families, hockey wives and girlfriends from around the world have participated in the "Love for Lokomotiv" program by selling remembrance bracelets. The proceeds will go to the foundation that has been established in honor of the lost team.

"Love for Lokomotiv" remembrance bracelets will be sold for $10 on the main concourse at Webster Bank Arena during the Sound Tigers games on Saturday, Dec. 3 vs. Albany and Sunday, Dec. 4 vs. Hershey, or while supplies last. Each fan that purchases a remembrance bracelet will be entered into a raffle for Sound Tigers team signed sticks and pucks.
