BRIDGEPORT, CT - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced today's game against the Worcester Sharks has been postponed due to the aftermath of this weekend's winter storm. No make-up date has been announced.
The Sound Tigers have also announced that tickets for today's game will be honored at any Sound Tigers home game for the remainder of the 2012-13 season.
“The safety of our fans, players and employees is paramount,” Sound Tigers President Howard Saffan said. “At the urging of the City of Bridgeport, and with their best interests in mind, we are compelled to reschedule this afternoon's game. We fully expect conditions to improve in time for Tuesday night's game against Springfield, and we look forward to seeing the fans here at Webster Bank Arena.”
The Sound Tigers welcome the Springfield Falcons to Webster Bank Arena on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m..
