First County Bank hires Pace as assistant branch manager

STAMFORD, CT — AnnaMaria Pace, a 25-year veteran of the financial services industry, recently joined First County Bank as an assistant branch manager of the bank’s 2950 Summer Street location. Pace will report directly to Camilo Duque Jr., branch manager.

As assistant branch manager, Pace is responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by assisting the branch manager with all aspects of the individual branch operation in accordance with corporate policies and procedures including customer service and satisfaction; directing, training and developing personnel; and all merchandising and operating standards. Pace will assist Duque in the control of all variable expenses and work to promote a pleasant and productive work environment within the branch.

Prior to joining First County Bank, Pace spent most of her career with Bank of America at its West Main Street office as an assistant manager, overseeing branch operations and sales.

A native of Italy who was raised in Stamford, Pace furthered her banking education by completing several courses in banking and economics through the Center for Financial Training in Stamford. In her spare time, Pace is involved with the Settefratese annual feast held at Sacred Heart Church in Stamford and has been involved in Stamford’s Thanksgiving holiday parade for the past 10 years. Additionally, she is also fluent in Italian and Spanish.
