NEW HAVEN, CT - First Niagara announced Tuesday it has named Robert Dellatorre Senior Relationship Manager in the New England Middle Market Banking Group. Dellatorre will manage the bank’s relationships with middle market companies located in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He will report to Senior Vice President James Bzdyra, who manages commercial banking for First Niagara’s New England region.

Robert Dellatorre joins First Niagara from JPMorgan Chase Bank where he served since 1991, most recently as Vice President – Middle Market Banking Group. He was responsible for the development of new customer base in the Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island markets. Prior to serving as Vice President – Middle Market Banking Group, Dellatorre served as Vice President – Technology Corporate Banking Group, where he was responsible for the development of a new customer base for New England technology companies including software, semiconductor and hardware companies.
“After working in the banking industry in New England for over 25 years, I’ve gained experience in a wide breadth of commercial banking activities, from credit analysis to loan reviews and portfolio management,” Dellatorre said. “I am excited to use my skills to enhance First Niagara’s commercial banking capabilities as the bank continues to expand and establish new relationships throughout the region.”
Dellatorre earned his B.S. in Economics from Southern Connecticut State University and received additional training in accounting from the University of New Haven. He resides in Bethany with his wife Pamela and three children. He is active in the Cub Scouts and has served as Scout Leader since 2005.
Dellatorre will serve clients from First Niagara’s New Haven office, located at 195 Church Street, New Haven.
