The Norwalk Symphony announces the appointment of two seasoned community leaders to the Board of Directors. Ken Olson, Chairman of the Norwalk Symphony, says, “I am ecstatic to have two of the most valued leaders in our community join our board. They bring a positive, upbeat energy that will help the Norwalk Symphony continue to grow.”
Emil Albanese is President of AE&T Worldwide Insurance Services and Chairman of the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency/Norwalk Economic Corporation. He brings with him an incredible business savvy and is Board Member on many local community organizations in an effort to move Norwalk forward. These include Make a Wish Foundation, Norwalk Education Foundation and Chairman of the SCBC Giving Council. He also dedicates his time to the Summit Committee consulting on pedestrian and alternative transportation modes, as well the creator of ClimateCT which is an environmental action organization.
Kathryn Hebert , affectionately called the “Parking Czarina” oversees the Norwalk Parking Authority. She brings with her a large, connected network and over 25 years as a Senior Manager in fiscal and financial management having a Doctorate in Business Management, Masters in Public Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Biology. She is the business liaison to the Norwalk Arts Commission, appointed by the Mayor and successfully leading the commission to a highly visible and valuable part of the community fabric. She provides consulting services as a Peer Advisor through the CT Commission on the Arts and Tourism as well as a valuable member of the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce Ambassador team. She is President of Frontiers International, LLC, where she advises clients on how to engage in the creative economy.

Emil and Kathryn are wonderful additions to the Norwalk Symphony Board.
