Rowayton Arts Center elects new officers & board members

Rowayton Arts Center elects new officers & board members
Rowayton Arts Center officers and board members for 2008-09 include (from left seated) Hu Lindsay, president; Jessica Huse, vice president; Wendy Moore, secretary; Jeannine Soper, treasurer; (standing) Michael Ross, Andrea Letters, Stuart Ferrell, Sally Bushing and Bill Jones.
The Rowayton Arts Center announces its 2008-09 officers and board. The officers are Hu Lindsay (Norwalk) – president; Jessica Huse (Norwalk) – vice president; Wendy Moore (Pound Ridge, NY) – secretary; and Jeannine Soper (Rowayton) – treasurer. Board members are Sally Bushing (Darien), Laura Bickmeyer (Rowayton), Stuart Ferrell (Rowayton), Deborah Flavin (New Canaan), Merion Frolich (Norwalk), Dana Goodfellow (Darien), Ruth Ipe (Wilton), Bill Jones (Norwalk), Andrea Letters (Rowayton), Robert Morris (Darien), Madeleine Mueller (Darien), Michael Ross (Norwalk), Joanne Roy (Bridgeport), Joanne Schreiber (Rowayton) and Claude Venon (Norwalk).

Founded in 1960, Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to exhibit the work of creative people in the area, offer classes for artists of all levels, serve as a community cultural center and create an environment for the exchange of arts-related ideas. Located at 145 Rowayton Avenue in the heart of Rowayton on the scenic banks of the Five Mile River, admission to the RAC Gallery is free. Rowayton Arts Center is open from 12:00 noon-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday and from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday. For information call 203-866-2744.
