WSHU Public Radio Group Names Sarah M. Wolcheski Membership Associate

Fairfield, CT - The WSHU Public Radio Group (Fairfield, CT, announced the appointment of Sarah M. Wolcheski as Membership Associate. Among her responsibilities in this new role will be to assist the Group’s Membership Department, processing donations and matching gifts, serving as a Pledge Drive Assistant, and managing thank you letters. Wolcheski brings to her new position experience in relationship building, data management and development-related activities.

Prior to joining WSHU, Wolcheski served as the Development Coordinator for the Harriet Beecher Stone Center (Hartford, CT). There, she managed the organization’s database, prepared donor acknowledgment letters, conducted individual and foundation research, developed various marketing materials, and provided administrative support for the Center’s largest fundraising event.

In addition to her role at the Harriet Beecher Stone Center, Wolcheski served as the Development Manager for Lucid Stage (Portland, ME) where she was responsible for all fundraising activities, including grant writing and major gift solicitation.

Wolcheski’s professional background also includes positions as: Administrative Clerk for the U.S. Census Bureau (Portland, ME), Administrative Assistant, INDEXX Laboratories, Inc. (Westbrook, ME), Volunteer and Food Programs Supervisor for Preble Street Resource Center (Portland, ME), and Phone Canvass Supervisor for Maine People’s Alliance (Portland, ME).

Wolcheski holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Vermont College (Brattleboro, VT). She also successfully completed courses to earn a Certificate in Volunteer Management from the Points of Light Foundation (Belfast, ME) and a Certificate of Graduate Study in Nonprofit Management from the University of Southern Maine (Portland, ME). She resides in South Salem, NY.
