OPIN (Outreach to Pets In Need), the Stamford organization dedicated to helping the Stamford animal shelter has announced their second annual fundraiser for Friday, April 15 at 6:30 PM at the UCONN Stamford Campus.
The event, which last year drew over 200 people, will feature food and beverages as well as the “Jasper” Video awards for the best and funniest pet videos.
The fundraiser, a primary source of contributions for the Stamford animal shelter, is a delightful mix of entertainment, silent auction items, and a chance to get up close and personal with some pets seeking adoption.
“We want to have an event that is fun, entertaining and helps raise money for a worthy cause”, said Heather Scutti the event’s Chairwoman. “100 percent of the funds raised goes directly to pets in need in our community, including adoptable pets in our foster program, and to reduce the burden on the city’s budget”, she added.
Each ticket is a $60 tax-deductable donation. Tickets are available online at www.opinpets.org. For further information, contact Heather Scutti at opinpets@hotmail.com.
