Norwalk, CT - 50 years…14,000 pets. The Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Norwalk has helped over 14,000 pets find new homes, and have provided medical assistance and critical aid to thousands of other pets. To celebrate this achievement, in conjunction with its 50th Anniversary, PAWS seeks a new logo, and asks graphic designers, artists and pet friends at large for designs. Contest participants should create a commemorative logo. The selected logo will appear on PAWS printed materials and fundraising merchandise.
Applicants may enhance the original logo with a visually distinctive 50th anniversary (1962-2012) designation, or they may create an entirely new logo reflecting their own vision of the PAWS organization.
Contest entry is free. Submission deadline is June 30, 2012. Winners will be chosen by a panel of designers and representatives from PAWS. The logo contest winner will receive Fairfield County restaurant gift certificates, and the logo will be featured on PAWS printed materials, and merchandise. See PAWS website at www.pawsct.org for submission rules and instructions or call the shelter at 203-750-9572.
