Former Governor M. Jodi Rell Endorses Fedele for Mayor of Stamford

The Michael Fedele for Mayor of Stamford campaign today announced that former Governor M. Jodi Rell is endorsing her former Lt. Governor for Mayor and headlining a fundraising event on September 26, 2013 in Darien.

“I am pleased to endorse and support my former partner in government, Mike Fedele,” Governor Rell said. “For four years in the Governor’s Office and in the legislature before that, I worked with Mike and saw first-hand the kind of leader and public servant he is.”

“Mike brings to this campaign an unmatched blend of business and government experience,” Governor Rell said. “He knows how government works, I know he is the best candidate to lead Stamford, and I know he will be an outstanding mayor.”

Joining Governor Rell at the fundraising event will be members of a host committee that includes:

Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei, Darien First Selectwoman Jayme Stevenson, Danbury Mayor Mark Bouhgton, New Canaan First Selectman Robert E. Mallozzi III, Stamford Mayor Mike Pava, Trumbull First Selectman Timothy Herbst, State Representative and National Committeeman John Frey, National Committeewoman Patricia Longo and State Party Chairman Jerry Labriola, Jr.

In addition, the following state lawmakers and Republican leaders are members of the host committee:
