Linda McMahon for Senate 2010 today announced the Prospect Republican Town Committee has thrown its support behind Linda’s candidacy for the U.S. Senate.

“The Prospect Republican Town Committee voted to endorse Linda McMahon as 'our candidate' in her run for U.S. Senate,” said Prospect RTC Chair Thomas Galvin. “Having met earlier with Linda, and watching her respond to questions as to how she would help get our country back on the right course, the Town Committee was very impressed. “

“Conservative by nature, our feeling was that so much needs to be changed in Washington that only someone who has not been previously involved can hope to make a real difference,” Galvin added. “Another coat of paint would not have helped the Titanic; it needed someone who would change its course. From where we sit, we believe Linda McMahon will make that happen.”

Robert Chatfield, the Mayor of Prospect and the longest-serving mayor in Connecticut, has also endorsed Linda. The Prospect RTC’s endorsement is the second Republican Town Committee endorsement Linda has received. Linda was endorsed by the New Fairfield RTC last month, along with New Fairfield First Selectman John Hodge.
