West Hartford, CT, March 16, 2010 – Linda McMahon for Senate 2010 today announced that State Representative Tim LeGeyt has given his support to Linda's candidacy for U.S. Senate.

“Washington is failing the American people. It has lost touch with ordinary Americans, and is relying on political advantage in lieu of common sense. I believe we need strong, new faces in Washington, representatives who can bring to our nation’s capitol fresh perspectives and new ideas. That is why I am endorsing Linda McMahon for U.S. Senate. She represents a refreshing change from the same old politics that has made cynics of so many Americans,” said state Representative Tim LeGeyt (R-Avon, Canton). “I believe her 30 years of real life business experience and record of job creation, coupled with her ability to connect with people and understand their concerns is exactly what Washington needs in order to get spending under control and begin putting people back to work.”

Representative LeGeyt was elected to the General Assembly in November 2008, serving the towns of Avon and Canton. He is a member of the Education Committee, the Public Health Committee, and the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee.
