500 West Putnam Avenue
STAMFORD, CT - Cushman & Wakefield today announced that it has been named the exclusive leasing agent for 500 West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut. C&W was retained by the building’s owners, Reckson, a division of SL Green Realty Corp., based in New York City.

500 West Putnam Avenue is a 121,000-square-foot, four-story, Class-A office building with a parking ratio of 3.25/1,000 square feet including executive garage parking. It is located in the west Greenwich submarket and is easily accessible from I-95 (exits 2 and 3), with proximity to downtown Greenwich restaurants and shops. On-site amenities include a full-service Chase Bank, 24-hour building access and on-site property management.

500 West Putnam Avenue is currently undergoing major upgrades, with renovations to the building and garage lobbies, bathrooms, a solar roof and landscaping already completed and improvements to common corridors throughout the building currently underway. Plans also call for the construction of pre-built suites up to 5,000 square feet.

“We chose Cushman & Wakefield as our leasing agent because of their exceptional reputation in Fairfield County,” said Larry Kwiat, senior vice president of Reckson. “They have a first-class track record for marketing space and I’m confident that their expertise will help us to complete the repositioning and leasing of 500 West Putnam Avenue in very short order.”

The Cushman & Wakefield leasing team is comprised of Joseph A. Cabrera, executive vice president; Stephen F. Baker, senior director; Michael B. Gordon, director; and Gregory F. Kenny, associate.

“500 West Putnam Avenue offers one of the very few large-block availabilities of Class-A office space in the much sought-after Greenwich submarket,” said Mr. Cabrera. “The building can accommodate tenants from 2,000 square feet through full-floor occupancy of 35,421 square feet, with the incomparable convenience of a Greenwich location. Equally important, tenants will benefit from the professional ownership and management provided by Reckson. It’s a pleasure to work with them on leasing a building of this caliber.”

SL Green Realty Corp.’s portfolio consists of 74 office and retail properties across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westchester County, Connecticut and New Jersey. Office properties in Connecticut include Landmark Square, Stamford Towers, 300 Main Street, 1010 Washington Boulevard and 1055 Washington Boulevard in Stamford.
