Norwalk, CT - Clarion Partners and Marcus Partners announced today that CBRE’s Fairfield/Westchester office has been appointed the exclusive leasing agent for Merritt 7 Corporate Park, a six-building, 1.4 million-square-foot, Class-A office park in Norwalk, CT. This marks the first time that leasing for this prestigious property has been undertaken by an outside brokerage firm. The CBRE team of Tom Pajolek, Executive Vice President; Robert Caruso, Senior Managing Director; and Senior Vice Presidents Steven Greenbush and Ned Burns will oversee the assignment under the guidance of Marcus Partners.

To further build on Merritt 7’s position as the market leader for Class-A office space in Central Fairfield County, ownership has committed to enhancing the Merritt 7 brand, image and sense of community. Renovations have already been made to 301 Merritt 7’s café, which is now run by Sodexo, and a Starbucks Café is being added to 501 Merritt 7 in the coming months.

“We are thrilled to be chosen by Clarion Partners and Marcus Partners to help drive the leasing efforts at Merritt 7. This will be the premier assignment in our leasing portfolio in Fairfield County.” noted Mr. Caruso. “This iconic portfolio of office buildings is already home to an impressive group of household names, and is ideally positioned to attract a diverse range of new tenants thanks to its incredible location, scale, amenities package, stable ownership, and responsive and strong management.”

Located directly off the Merritt Parkway at exit 40 B, Merritt 7 offers a 22-acre campus setting along the Norwalk River. Merritt 7’s buildings feature technologically advanced infrastructure and extensive on-site amenities, including a fitness center, conference center, two full-service dining facilities, covered structured parking, 24/7 security, ATM banking facilities, Hertz Auto rental, car wash facilities, drop off/pick up dry cleaning, shoe shine/repair service, and other retail services. In addition, Merritt 7 has been widely recognized for its energy conservation efforts, including LEED EB certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for buildings 101, 301 401 501 & 601 and the Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR rating.

Merritt 7 Corporate Park is adjacent to the Merritt 7 Metro North station – which has just been approved for a major upgrade by the State of Connecticut - and is in close proximity to Fairfield County’s major highways and area amenities. Major tenants include Arch Chemicals, Inc., EMCOR, FactSet Research, Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF), General Electric, HEI, IPSOS, Marsh USA, and Siemens.

Merritt 7 Corporate Park offers a number of leasing opportunities for tenants ranging from 1,000 SF to 60,000 SF. For more information on Merritt 7 visit www.merritt7.com.
