Cushman & Wakefield recently announced that it has been named the exclusive sales agent for Commerce Park, a 6.98-acre, four-building 90,742-square-foot medical office portfolio in Bridgeport, Connecticut. C&W was retained by Commerce Park Associates, LLC. Cushman & Wakefield’s Private Capital Group, led by Al Mirin, senior director, and Kate Schwartz, associate, will market the property.

Commerce Park sits just half a mile south of exit 48 of the Merritt Parkway and the 1.2-million square-foot Westfield Shopping Mall. It is just two miles north of St. Vincent’s Medical Center — the region’s premier medical center — and four miles from Bridgeport Hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health System. Major tenants in the Park include Robbins Eye Center and Bank of America.

“Commerce Park represents a strong income stream secured by long-term leases in a well established property,” said Ms. Schwartz.

“Medical office properties are one of the most sought after asset classes and Commerce Park is one of the most prestigious of its kind in Fairfield County. Its proximity to St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Bridgeport Hospital make it the ideal location for the top medical professionals in the area; its adjacency to the Merritt Parkway and Route 8 add to its appeal as a rare opportunity for investors,” added Mr. Mirin..

Cushman & Wakefield’s Private Capital Group specializes in middle market building sales ranging from $2 million to $15 million.
