Stamford, CT - Abbey Woods, a brand-new residential community at The Reserve in Danbury, has just opened its initial phase, debuting its first building and its clubhouse, with luxury apartments now available for leasing. Positioned high above the rolling woodlands of a 546-acre nature preserve, Abbey Woods combines the best of both worlds, offering a vibrant urban lifestyle in a picturesque New England setting.

Featuring spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor-plans, the beautifully finished apartments all center on open living areas leading to private outdoor spaces taking advantage of scenic four-season vistas in tranquil park-like surroundings. Large light-filled windows and easy-care wood laminate floors are integral parts of the interior design.

With an equal emphasis on style, comfort, and convenience, Abbey Woods offers maintenance-free living with all of the latest amenities. All apartments have open kitchens equipped with GE Energy Star appliances, and also offer well-appointed ceramic-tiled baths, generous closets and laundry areas with full-size appliances. Garage parking right inside the building is an added convenience.

Designed by seventy2architects, an innovative Danbury-based firm, the fresh modern styling of the residential buildings is echoed in the luxurious Abbey Woods Clubhouse that serves as a focal point for the community’s recreational and social activities. Both levels of the light-flooded building capture magnificent vistas of rolling hills stretching all the way to New York State.

At the heart of the clubhouse, the spacious great room creates an inviting place for residents to relax and socialize, and is complete with a fireplace and large-screen televisions. There is also a billiard room, state-of-the-art gym, yoga studio, and children’s playroom. The on-site management office is also located within the building. Just outside the clubhouse’s great room, the luxurious heated pool and barbecue area are the centerpiece for outdoor activities.

Abbey Woods is part of The Reserve at Danbury, a master-planned community perfectly located for commuting and for taking advantage of myriad attractions throughout the immediate area. Access to Interstate 84 is within a mile. Danbury Airport and Metro-North train service to New York City are also only minutes away. Beautiful parks, golf courses, and the Danbury Mall are close by, as is CityCenter, Danbury’s dynamic revitalized downtown district, offering wonderful restaurants and shops in addition to a full calendar of arts and entertainment attractions.

“We’re excited to be welcoming residents to a great new community as part of The Reserve in Danbury,” said Courtney Phillips, Community Manager of Abbey Woods. “We look forward to the on-going success of Abbey Woods.”

Competitively priced, the 90 apartments of Building One represent the first phase of the Abbey Woods development, which will eventually comprise a total of 470 residences. Located at 15 Abbey Lane, the Abbey Woods Leasing Office is open from 9 AM until 6 PM Monday through Friday, from 9 AM until 5 PM on Saturday, and from 11 AM until 5 PM on Sunday. The leasing office can be contacted by phone at 203.798.0444 or by email at leasing@abbeywoodsct.com. Additional information is also available at www.abbeywoodsct.com.
