Shelton, CT - Last week, William Raveis, chairman and chief executive officer of William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance, announced the company’s latest innovation: the Certified Homeownership Professional (CHP) training program. The CHP program is designed to provide William Raveis sales associates training in the mortgage, insurance and settlement services areas, so they can properly advise their clients through every step of homeownership.

“We recognize that the industry is changing,” said Raveis. “Our agents are being certified in more than just real estate, they’re going to be professionals with experience and knowledge in the entire homeownership process.”

William Raveis acknowledges that the process of purchasing a home is one of the biggest decisions a person can ever make. Due to this, it’s important that customers and clients have a trusted advisor by their side that can help them navigate every aspect of the process.

“Our industry-first CHP training provides our sales associates the foundation they need to provide expertise in every step of the homeownership process,” said Raveis. “Without a knowledgeable, experienced professional to guide clients through the homeownership process, it’s easy to become overwhelmed. Our professionals help their clients navigate the real estate, mortgage, insurance and settlement services processes—making the transaction as smooth and seamless as possible.”

In order to receive the CHP designation, William Raveis associates go through a multi-part series of educational trainings, and are tested on their knowledge. Each professional is already trained in the real estate industry, but they additionally undergo training in mortgage, insurance and settlement service, ensuring that they are prepared to help their clients and customers through every step of the homeownership process.
