NORWALK, CT - The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is open today, Monday, August 29. The Aquarium has electrical power. In fact, the Aquarium Visitor Services department has set up a charging station. Charge your cell phone as you enjoy the exhibits, reported Chris Loynd, marketing director.

“Seals, meerkats and some other animals that were moved to safer, off-exhibit areas may not be available first thing in the morning. But Aquarium staffers are reporting to work and moving animals back to their usual homes,” Loynd said.

“Come visit our Dinosaur Summer exhibit and all the fish today. It’s a great way to pass a few hours and keep the kids entertained while you wait for power to be restored,” he added.

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through August 31st, until 5 p.m. thereafter.
