Woodloch Pines, an all-inclusive family resort located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, will be kicking off the winter season by offering a number of special winter packages from which guests can choose. Family-owned and operated by the Kiesendahl Family since 1958, Woodloch prides itself on a tradition of excellence and warm hospitality for over 50 years. Woodloch is a short trip from the New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas. Winter is the perfect time to visit Woodloch and experience the natural beauty of the area.
In January, Woodloch is offering special midweek and weekend packages. From January 16 to 20, rates start at only $110 per adult, per night, and children 12 and under are free. This package includes spacious accommodations, three meals daily, and a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment. During the winter months, guests at Woodloch can participate in a number of seasonal activities such as: snowshoeing, snowmobiling, snow tubing, ice fishing, and ice skating. Guests who prefer to stay indoors can enjoy a variety of game show contests, a Broadway-style theme show, or just relax in in the indoor pool area, complete with a Jacuzzi and kid’s Splash Zone.
The weekends of January 20 to 22, 27 to 29, and February 3 to 5, Woodloch is offering a Weekend Ski ‘N’ Stay package with rates starting at only $340 per adult, per package. This rate includes accommodations, breakfast and dinner daily, one full-day Ski Big Bear lift ticket per person, per night, and resort activities and entertainment.
For guests coming just for the day or for members of the local community, a Wednesday and Saturday night out at Woodloch are unique alternatives to the norm. After guests have enjoyed a four-course meal featuring roast tenderloin of beef, a parade of characters celebrating Mardi Gras escort them into the nightclub for a Broadway-style theatrical performance. This year’s theme is “Festivals of the World.” The musical production highlights the Cannes Film Festival, Carnivale, San Gennaro, Oktoberfest, and Woodstock, which took place only 30 minutes from Woodloch. Prices for Woodloch’s Dinner and a Show start at $25 per person, depending on when guests come.
Rory O’Fee, Woodloch’s Director of Marketing, is looking forward to a very successful winter season. “Even with the strange, unseasonably warm weather we’re having, Woodloch is providing a fully-loaded winter vacation for all. We’ve got plenty of snow in our backyard!”
